Alex is our Managing Director, often referred to as “The Friendly Giant.” Alex commenced his Valuation career in Tauranga in 1997 and has practiced in the Western Bay of Plenty region ever since. Whilst Alex is still actively involved with overseeing the valuation and consultancy sides of the company, he is now more hands-on in the management of growing the business and the expansion of the PRP brand throughout New Zealand. Customer relationships have always been the part of the job that Alex enjoys the most. As part of this, he is passionate about ensuring that clients get the highest level of attention and care possible. Afterhours Alex is kept busy with a young family and he also enjoys catching up with friends and family.  Fishing and dive trips are favourites but aren’t as frequent as he would like!

Alex works in the Commercial Team coordinating the workflow and keeping the valuers on their toes – something she knows a lot about from her former life as a ballet teacher in Auckland. Alex has been part of the PRP team since 2019 and loves the fun and engaging office environment with no pink tights and leotards in sight. When she isn’t at work, Alex is busy studying business papers through Massey University and working on developing her new lifestyle property.

Meet Flynn, Assistant Valuer for the Residential team, Flynn has completed his Bachelor of Land and Property Management, majoring in Urban Valuation and Finance via Lincoln University and and returned to Tauranga to begin his valuation career with PRP. Growing up in Oropi, Flynn has a strong connection to the Bay of Plenty and he’s looking forward to contributing to the region through practical, high-quality valuation work. He’ll be developing specialist experience across residential, lifestyle, and development land, with the goal of working towards registration in 2028.

Flynn enjoys the hands-on side of valuation-getting out on site, understanding a property firsthand, and continually building his knowledge of the local market. He values PRP’s community-focused approach and is committed to providing reliable, well-considered advice to clients across the region.

Outside of work, Flynn lives a pretty active life where he has been involved in hockey for many years, he enjoy getting out for runs, and making the most of the Bay’s outdoor environment. You’ll usually find Flynn spending time with friends and family, out at the lakes surfing or wakeboarding, or squeezing in a round of golf.

Hannah joined the Rural team in 2023 after emigrating from England. She has been a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (FAAV) since 2021. Through the reciprocal recognition agreement between the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the New Zealand Institute of Valuers, Hannah successfully completed the New Zealand valuer registration process in 2025.

Hannah brings a strong rural background, with a broad experience of rural valuation, complemented by hands-on farming experience. Outside of PRP, she and her husband are sharemilking a 250-cow dairy farm and contract milking a 400-cow dairy farm near Whakatāne, giving her a practical understanding of the rural sector and the challenges faced by farming clients.

In her spare time, Hannah enjoys spending time with her Huntaway, hiking and making the most of the outdoors.

Outside of working hours she loves to travel, following most sports and spending time with the grandchildren.

Rhonda fills her days working behind the scenes alongside Alex Haden with the business management and generally being the office “Mum”, where she has many “proud Mum moments”. Outside of work Rhonda and her family love to travel and go camping in their classic caravan. She likes to keep active with sports, particularly golf (as now retired from body breaking Netball)!

Spare time for Toby is devoted to his young family however he also enjoys playing cricket for Greerton and watching a range of sports.

She supports the residential team, and more recently is learning the ropes in office management.  Born in Australia (but we don’t hold that against her), Tracey lives in Papamoa Beach and has 3 busy teens making her main role outside of work being a part-time taxi driver, taking her kids to all their various sporting activities! Walking up Pap Hills and getting to the beach to chill is her happy place.

Will possesses a unique perspective to work, having cut his teeth in the dynamic and fast-paced South Auckland market. That experience provided an invaluable grounding in a wide variety of properties and navigating complex market conditions. His goal now is to utilise that broad experience with a deep and continually growing understanding of the local market drivers here in the Bay.

Sheryl joined the PRP rural team this year, she enjoys being part of a team that is passionate about helping clients achieve their goals and delivering exceptional service.

Outside of work, she is a proud mum to two adult daughters and is happiest when she is spending time with family and friends. On weekends, you’ll find her discovering local walks or packing up the caravan and heading off on an adventure with her husband.
