April 2023 – Good Neighbour Volunteer Day

Earlier in April we teamed up with Good Neighbour for our annual community day and volunteered to help out St Vincent de Paul – shifting literally 10 tonnes of mostly bed mattresses and bases out of a commercial storage unit that was stacked to the gunnels! (Shout out to Holland Beckett Law who came along with a team to lend a much needed hand too.)

The Vinnies had been hard at work before we even got there, helping many families in need with the donated goods which also included a lot of white-ware.

We always come away from these days with a lot more perspective in life and this year we also came away with sore muscles for a few days too! (Check out the before and after photo – all clear!)
